Tuesday
http://www.mercycorps.org/

Monday

The devil came on horseback,讲苏丹Darfur 的种族清洗。

Movie list
The Sweet Hereafter
It is a movie about human beings...very well directed
La Vie en Rose
I only have one CD in the office and it is Edith Piaf. The magnetism in her voice is simply irresistible. The movie uses her original sound tracks. dramatic true story, beautiful music and perfecto acting, what else do you expect from a movie?
Some Like It Hot
Just saw this movie, almost 50 years after it was first released, and I still find it funny. This is called classic...
Ratatouille
My favourite of the year :) My little puppy enjoys it too :p
Born Into Brothels
I have not been stroke by any movies for quite some time, but this one really hits me hard. I finished the documentary, and went on the special features, and then logged onto the internet to find the updates on these children, still, I want to watch the film again before I return the dvd...strongly recommend
Gabbeh
This is probably the 3rd Iranian movie I have ever seen...very refreshing
Two Women
This is my very first Sophia Loren movie. Isnt she fascinating!
The Notebook
I know this is too much but I was in tears thru out most the movie...The storyline is kinda banal, but it is really touching and moving. Yes, it is a gal's movie.
He Loves Me ... He Loves Me Not
Audrey Tautou is indeed the quirkiest, funnest and best actress...The movie was totally out of my expectation as I moved onto the second half. I like the surprise, suspense and the black humor.
In the Realm of the Senses
Eroticism is not pornography...Here is some background info. of the true story http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abe_Sada
The Butterfly
This is a very lovely story although kind of banal...I love the song a lot
All About My Mother
Pedro Almodovar...homosexual, bisexual, transexual...everything you can think of, it has it all here. Very beautifully shot, although I think the ending is a little bit awkard
Amélie
This is still my favourite movie. Audrey Tautou is so sweet...It is a waste of her talent in The Da Vinci Code...
Taxi Driver
Based on a true story...New York City in the 70s, gangs and crime...It is a mix of different feelings when I watched the movie, and maybe thats why I like it. Judie Foster showed her talent in acting when she was still young.
Hilary and Jackie
Based on the true story of Jacqueline Du Pre, the most famous cellist of her time in the 1960s and 1970s...
Lovers on the Bridge
The bridge is Pont-Neuf...Juliette Binoche is fantastic...Also like her in the Three Colors trilogy & the unbearable lightness of being
Live Flesh
Pedro Almodovar...Love, life, desire and everything in between...after seeing quite a few of Almodovar's movies, this one is all right...good music & cinematography as always
Happy Together
This is my favourite Wong Kar-wai movie...the love story between two men is no different from that between one man and one woman
Talk to Her
The first Pedro Almodovar movie I have ever seen. Very touched and there started my ecstasy of his movies...
Bad Education
Pedro Almodovar...see how bad the education can be at a boy's school...priest + pedophilia, how does that sound?
What Have I Done to Deserve This?
Pedro Almodovar...you can see the baby of Volver here...Almodovar has always had a strong sympathy on women
The Flower of My Secret
Pedro Almodovar...my second favorite, right next to Talk to Her.
La Strade
A Federico Fellini movie, that makes it a classic...very sad and I am so moved by Giulietta Masina's delicate performance.
Volver
Pedro Almodovar 2006, his newest movie...Penelope Cruz is phenomenal
